There are two types of returns - - Regular Returns and Damaged Returns. Below is our specific policy for each of these types of returns:

Regular Returns
This type of return is for items that you have ordered in error, no longer need, or have changed your mind. Once the product is received back at our designated warehouse, you will receive a store credit coupon for your purchase, minus any shipping and handling fees that may apply. You will receive your store credit coupon as long as the following criteria are met:

  1. The item must be returned within 15 days of receipt.
  2. The item must be returned in it's original packaging.
  3. The item must be returned in the condition it was received.

Please note that you will be responsible for shipping charges back to our warehouse on this type of return and in some cases a restock fee of 25% may be applicable.

Also please note that SPECIAL ORDER items are non-refundable and non-returnable. GLASSWARE is non-returnable as well, but refunds can be made on a per-glass basis in the case of breakage.

Damaged Product Returns
This type of return is for items that have arrived to you in a damaged or defective condition or the warehouse has sent you the wrong item (not the item on your order). These returns are eligible for a full monetary refund as long as the following criteria is met:

  1. You have completed a return request at our site within 3 business days of receipt of the product, including complete details of the damage or the error involved.
  2. The product is kept in it's original packaging.

Wares Direct cannot accept returns of certain items by law. Below is the listing of these items:

  1. Any item that is gas-powered or contains flammable liquids.
  2. Special Order Items such as furniture or equipment.
  3. Any product missing the serial number or UPC.
  4. Food Service Disposable items, such as plates, cups, napkins, drinks, food, etc.

Issuance of Refund or Store Credit Coupons You will be provided with your refund or store credit coupon once the following is completed:

  1. Your item is received back at our designated warehouse.
  2. The item has been inspected and has met all return criteria above based on the type of return In the case of damage or error return, once the product has been returned to our warehouse, the damage will be inspected or the error verified, and a refund will be made in full for the product, shipping and tax (if applicable). You will receive your refund in the manner with which you have paid (i.e., credit card, check, PayPal, etc.)

How to make a return

In the event you need to return a product to us, you must follow the instructions below in order to provide our team with the necessary information to process your return quickly:

  1. Click on ORDER MANAGEMENT at our site
  2. Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS and SHIPPING ZIP CODE to pull up your order history.
  3. Click on the order with which you have a product to return.
  4. Click on the checkbox next to the product you are returning and then Click on RETURN.
  5. A return request form will pop-up that you will need to complete. Please complete the form in it's entirety, including the quantity of the product you are returning, the type of return you are making, and complete details of why you are returning the product. In the event you are returning the product because of damage, you must give exact details as to the type and location of the damage to the product. You must also include your phone number in case we need to get in touch with you on this return request.
  6. Once you have completed the return request form, please Click on SUBMIT. You will receive an email confirmation of your return request.
  7. Once we process your return request, we will send you detailed instructions to complete your return.

Order Cancellations
If you made a purchase through eBay and want to cancel your order, you must apply for order cancellation through eBay first. Ebay then sends us the cancellation notice and refunds our commission. We are not at liberty to cancel orders unless ebay allows the cancellation first. This is a function of EBAY. In the case where you make a purchase through our site and subsequently change your mind before receipt, please call our offices immediately and we will try to stop the shipment from leaving our warehouse(s). We pride ourselves on fast shipping to our customers, so we are not always able to stop shipments in time when cancellations. We will do our best and let you know one way or the other.

  • In the case where we cannot stop the shipment, you are welcome to return the product under our "Regular Return" policy.
  • If we are able to stop the shipment, we will do so and refund your payment.
  • Shipment refusals by the customer are not authorized. Customers refusing shipments will be responsible for all applicable restock, handling and shipping fees for these types of non-authorized returns.

In the event you pay for an item and it is not readily available. Wares Direct reserves the right to automatically backorder your purchase for a period not to exceed 30 days. If we cannot ship out your product in that timeframe, you will then be notified and refunded in full. You will be notified of this action via email backorder confirmation.
